#StayPRIVATE for National Internet Safety Month

Monday, June 3, 2019

From keeping up with friends and family members to online gaming and shopping, the Internet has become an entertainment, information and social haven to people all across America. In fact, in 2018, the Pew Research Center reported that nearly 90 percent of all Americans used the Internet, up from 74 percent in 2008. Obviously, the Internet is more important than ever before in our day-to-day lives, but with this ever-changing technology, how can you ensure your family is safe from the dangers of cyberspace?

June is National Internet Safety Month, and all month long, we’ve partnered with local law enforcement agencies to help equip you and your family with the tools necessary to stay safe online. During June, we will be hosting a series of educational initiatives and events in cities near you to encourage communities across the nation to #StayPRIVATE.
